# Make an Offer on Any Item

> Submit and manage offers on Treasure Lovers, handle counter-offers and expiry windows, and withdraw offers using proper marketplace etiquette.

Not every treasure has a fixed price. When a seller enables offers, you can propose a price that works for your budget and start a friendly negotiation. This page walks you through the offer process from start to finish.

## Buy It Now vs. Making an Offer

**Buy It Now** lets you purchase immediately at the listed price. **Make an Offer** is available when the seller has enabled it on the listing. The seller can accept, decline, or counter your offer.

## Submit an Offer

    Navigate to the item page and click the **Make an Offer** button. If the button is not visible, the seller is only accepting the listed price.

    Type the price you are willing to pay. Some sellers display a minimum offer threshold to reduce low bids.

  <Step title="Add a message (optional)">
    Write a short, polite note. A friendly message can help your offer stand out, especially when you explain why the item matters to you.

    Click **Submit Offer**. The seller is notified immediately and has 48 hours to respond by accepting, declining, or sending a counter-offer.

## Manage Your Offers

You can view all active offers from your account dashboard. Each offer shows its status: pending, accepted, declined, or countered. Accepted offers convert into purchases that you complete through checkout.

### Counter-Offers

If a seller counters, you have 48 hours to accept or decline. You may also send a second counter-offer, but the negotiation ends after one round of countering to keep transactions moving.

### Offer Expiry

Pending offers expire automatically after 48 hours if the seller does not respond. Expired offers are marked as declined and can no longer be accepted.

### Withdrawing an Offer

You can withdraw a pending offer at any time before the seller responds. Open the offer from your dashboard and click **Withdraw**. Once withdrawn, the offer is immediately canceled.

  Offer etiquette matters on Treasure Lovers. Start with a reasonable bid, around 10% to 20% below the asking price for items in good condition. Avoid extreme lowball offers, which sellers often decline without countering.
